AS Magnum Medical changes the corporate structure
On the 22nd of Decemeber 2006 the Estonian business register registered the split of AS Magnum Medical into four legal entities, one of which is former AS Magnum Medical (new business name public limited company Magnum AS) and the other three are wholly-owned subsidiaries:
Magnum Medical OÜ - wholesale of medicines (excl. logistics)
Magnum Health OÜ - wholesale and retail of non-medicines (incl. consumer goods)
Magnum Logistics OÜ - logitics and labelling of packages
Magnum AS will continue as the holding company of the group to co-ordinate the group activities in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Finland. The current member of the Management Board and CEO of AS Magnum Medical Mr Leon Jankelevitsh will continue as Magnum AS group CEO.
New subsidiaries has been created on the basis of former respective departments of AS Magnum Medical. The forming of legal entities shall enamble to better focus on the development of different business areas and to better measure their performance. The changes of corporate structure will not cause any remarkable changes to customers and suppliers.
